King Street Townhouse occupies a Grade II-listed Italian Renaissance building from 1872 — originally built as the Manchester Salford Trustees Bank — that has been lavishly converted into a 40-room boutique hotel. The building is impressive on the outside, but inside it's genuinely intimate: parquet floors, dark wood panelling, local artwork referencing Madchester and the Haçienda, and rooms that feel genuinely individual rather than cookie-cutter. The rooftop infinity pool on the 7th floor is Manchester's first, and the ESPA spa added in 2022 rounds out a package that makes this the city's strongest argument for proper luxury.

One of Manchester's most celebrated afternoon tea experiences. Served in the Afternoon Tea Lounge, all items are handmade by the pastry team using seasonal ingredients. Menu changes twice per season. Available daily 12pm–6pm, open to non-guests.
