Some have Pacific views, some face inland — confirm at booking if the view matters to you.

Ranges from 295–415 sq ft. Premium rooms are positioned for ocean and pier views — the main reason to step up from Essential. Same excellent Kimpton in-room kit as the standard rooms, but the Pacific backdrop makes the morning coffee actually feel earned. Not all rooms in this tier are created equal, so it's worth asking which floors have unobstructed pier sightlines.

Studio Suite
Ranging 425–495 sq ft, these suites add a private living room with pull-out sofa — the jump in space is noticeable. All the standard in-room perks are here, plus a Dyson Supersonic hair dryer in select configurations. Good choice for couples wanting separation between sleeping and lounging, or families who don't need two full bedrooms.

The biggest room on property at 525 sq ft. Private living room, two king bedrooms, and full suite amenities. The Oceanfront Two-Bedroom Suite is described as supremely spacious, while the Pier-view Oceanfront Suite has its own sweeping terrace with 700 sq ft of furnished balcony space and direct Pacific Ocean views. If you're splashing out, the pier-view terrace is the one to get.

An unusually well-equipped gym for a boutique property. Alongside standard cardio machines, ellipticals, and free weights: a Peloton Bike, Lululemon Studio, 40-foot wide indoor climbing wall, kettlebells, heavy ropes, jump ropes, medicine balls, and resistance bands. Open 24 hours to resort guests.
Hotel provides beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas, plus beach cruiser bicycles for riding the beachside bike path. Custom ice chests are also available (hotel can pre-stock with snacks on request). Takes the logistics out of a beach day.
Weekly yoga class held on Sundays from 9:00–10:00am. Open to hotel guests and non-guests alike. Hotel guests don't need a reservation but space is limited. Non-guests should reserve in advance by email. All attendees receive a coupon for 15% off brunch at Pacific Hideaway. Yoga mats are in every guest room, or bring your own.
Open-air courtyard patio with cozy fire pits where guests gather for s'mores, drinks, and socializing. A genuine gathering spot, especially at sunset when the pier lights up.
