Why It Matters
Each of the 24 suites is built around a different slice of Brazilian culture — there are suites dedicated to music, photography, literature, modernism, and the natural world. The property doubles as a living gallery, with curated art throughout all common spaces. The aGaleria restaurant draws non-guests too. And unlike many boutique hotels in Búzios, this one has a genuine private beach.
Insólito sits right on Ferradura Beach — one of Búzios's most beautiful and calm bays — on a 4,000 sq meter plot with only 24 rooms. Every suite is individually decorated around a theme of Brazilian art, music, photography, or literature, the brainchild of French-born owner Emanuelle Meeus de Clermont. Two pools (one heated, one saltwater natural), a private beach, and an on-site restaurant that's a genuine destination all add up to a property that earns its name.

Each one is individually decorated around Brazilian cultural themes — think art books, design objects, earthy tones. At 21 sq meters they're snug for a boutique hotel, but the craftsmanship justifies it. Garden view.

At around 40 sq meters, these are the most versatile option. Located in Ala Terra Brasil and Ala Modernismo, they offer sea views or lateral sea views with a balcony and hydro bathtub. Sleep up to 3 people. A solid step up from Classic without going full-top-tier pricing.
