The spa, a 7,000-square-foot bathhouse-inspired space, opened in 2024. And the restaurant — helmed by Chef Gabriel Salazar — draws non-guests from across the Hudson Valley.
INNESS is a 40-room country retreat on 220 pastoral acres in Accord, NY, about 90 minutes from New York City. Situated between the Catskill and Shawangunk mountain ranges, it was conceived by architect and restaurateur Taavo Somer alongside designers Post Company and landscape designer Miranda Brooks. Named after American landscape painter George Inness, it splits accommodation between a Dutch Colonial-style Farmhouse and 28 minimalist cabins scattered along the wooded edges of the property.

Clean, minimalist Farmhouse room with king bed, single vanity bathroom, vintage seating, Frette robes, and Aesop bath products. Small but thoughtfully designed — exactly what it's supposed to be.
KingFarmhouse King Mini Suite
The top Farmhouse category. Belgian linen bench seat sofa and a decorative fireplace give it a living-room feel. Flat screen TV and access to the Farmhouse honor bar. Located in the Dutch Colonial-style main building with shared common areas.
KingFarmhouse Queen
The most compact room on the property, but well-designed. Queen bed, single vanity bathroom, flat screen TV, and honor bar access. A solid entry point to the Farmhouse experience.

The standout cabin category. Belgian linen bench seat sofa, a private deck with Catskill mountain views, and the only single-occupancy cabin with a woodburning stove — firewood included. Designed for those who want to linger in bed and then disappear onto their deck.

Beds positioned for expansive views of the grounds or Catskill mountains. Everything needed to make a morning coffee or tea, plus a private deck for reading or writing. Custom Roll & Hill furniture and curated vintage pieces throughout.
KingTwo Bedroom Cabin Suite
The largest accommodation on the property. Two king beds, a sitting area, dining area, woodburning stove with firewood provided, and private decks. Complimentary Frette robes and Aesop bath products included.

Designed by King Collins Golf (creators of Sweetens Cove in Tennessee), this inland links-style course is open to the public, members, and hotel guests. Features a massive 45,000 sq ft putting surface that doubles as the practice green, shared greens, and architecturally inventive bunker design. No dress code. Walking encouraged. Driving range and lessons available.
A year-round calendar of events that ranges widely: cooking classes, disco parties, dog walks, sound healing sessions, kids camp sessions, and seasonal events. Check the Event Calendar on the INNESS website before booking.
Multiple fire pits around the property, including near the main entrance. A natural post-dinner hangout spot — grab a beer from the bar and claim an Adirondack chair.
220 acres of walking and hiking trails across pastoral meadows, wooded edges, and landscape designed by Miranda Brooks. A walking map is available from the property.

Two saltwater pools on property. The main pool near the Events Barn has lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a seasonal pool bar. A second, quieter pool sits just outside the Farmhouse front door. Both open to hotel guests and members only.

Dedicated event space for private dinners, weddings, and group gatherings. The Farmhouse dining room can host private dinners for up to 50 guests.
Coffee and tea setup in cabins. Farmhouse guests have access to a custom British Standard for Plain English kitchen in the common area.

Social and golf memberships available. Golf membership from $5,775/year (single). Includes unlimited golf, pool, tennis, member's lounge access, and advance tee times.
Up to 2 well-socialized dogs welcome per reservation. $100 pet fee per stay. Dogs must be crated when left alone in rooms/cabins and leashed in all common areas.

INNESS provides on-property transportation to and from cabins and amenities upon request. Essential since cabins are spread across 220 acres and not walkable from the main parking lot.
Complimentary on-site parking in the central lot. Guest vehicles remain parked there for the duration of the stay; INNESS provides property-wide shuttle transport.
