Il Pellicano started as a love story. British aviator Michael Graham and American socialite Patsy Daszel built it on a cove of Monte Argentario in 1965, first as a private club for friends, then as something the whole world wanted in on. Today, under CEO Marie-Louise Sciò, it sits at #26 on the World's 50 Best Hotels list with a Michelin-starred restaurant, a legendary seawater pool photographed by Slim Aarons, and a private beach reached by elevator.
