Why It Matters
The only hotel in the world operating both a Riva Lounge and a Riva Privée (Riva Yacht's branded chef's table). One of just seven Riva Lounge locations globally, alongside Monaco and Venice. Ikador opened in April 2019 and quickly became Croatia's most talked-about new luxury address. Just 16 rooms and suites, all spacious, all facing the Adriatic. The interior leans Art Deco with a modern Mediterranean palette of marine blue, soft grey, and mustard yellow — travertine stone with golden inlays, breccia medicea marble, custom furniture, and original glass art by Mirko Zubak. Think small, private, and deliberately unhurried. The Riva Lounge is one of only seven such venues in the world — a sleek poolside space designed by Italian boat builders Riva Yacht, anchored by a heated 17x6 metre saltwater pool and a private Riva Aquariva Super speedboat moored right at the hotel's dock. In the rooms: espresso machines and Hermès bath products. That's the level.

The entry-level rooms at Ikador — and they are not modest. Each is a double room with a private loggia terrace giving a direct sea view over the Adriatic. The design blends Mediterranean colour palette (marine blue, soft grey) with high-end European furnishings: travertine stone, custom-made furniture, Egyptian cotton sheets, feather-down pillows. In-room espresso machine and complimentary minibar included.

The penthouse. A full 140 sqm of living space plus a 105 sqm panoramic terrace with its own private jacuzzi and lounge area. Full kitchen, wood-burning fireplace, dining area, walk-in closet.
