HOY Paris - Yoga Hotel
Eco-conscious urban wellness retreat. Earthy neutral tones, raw wood furniture, live plants, ceramic artworks by Cerámica Libertad. The vibe is calm and intentional — guests enter through the flower shop, which sets the tone immediately. Expect Palo Santo-scented air, a hotel bar that doubles as reception, and eight yoga classes a day.
Book yoga classes 24 hours in advance via reception for the hotel guest rate (€25 vs €32 for walk-ins).
Why It Matters
The only hotel in Paris built entirely around a yoga philosophy. Features France's first indoor infrared-heated yoga studio, a fully plant-based restaurant rooted in Latin American flavors, and a care room with an unusually eclectic roster of therapists offering everything from Tibetan bowl massage and magnetism sessions to Rebozo ceremonies and Kobido facials. Conceived and built by one person with a very clear personal vision — and it shows.
HOY stands for House of Yoga but also means 'today' in Spanish. Founded by Charlotte Gomez de Orozco — a hospitality school graduate and certified yoga teacher — this 4-star independent hotel on rue des Martyrs in the 9th arrondissement brings together 21 rooms, the plant-based Mesa restaurant, France's first infrared-lit heated yoga studio (operated by YUJ Yoga), a holistic care room, and a Japanese-run Florería flower shop right at the entrance. No TVs in any room, Feng Shui-informed interiors, binchotan charcoal water filters, and French organic toiletries in every bathroom. More wellness retreat than traditional hotel, but with excellent access to Pigalle, Sacré-Coeur, and the wider 9th.
