Hotel Weisses Roessl
Contemporary alpine design hotel with historic bones — modern interiors, curated materials, international crowd, buzzy nightlife from the Zuma bar.
Book Zuma early — it fills up fast and reservations are separate from the hotel booking via zumarestaurant.com
Why It Matters
Kitzbühel's only member of The Leading Hotels of the World. Houses a permanent outpost of Zuma — the London-founded Japanese restaurant empire — making it arguably the most fashionable dining address in the Austrian Alps each winter season.
A 17th-century coaching inn turned design-forward five-star hotel, right in the center of Kitzbühel. The Harisch family overhauled it completely in 2017 — natural oak, local stone, and galvanized steel now fill a historic shell. The big draw for many guests isn't even skiing: it's Zuma, the globally famous Japanese restaurant that takes over the hotel lobby every evening from 6pm.

Kitzbühel has four golf courses in the surrounding region. The hotel can arrange green fees and is well-positioned for golfers. A golf package (1 week including 5 green fees of your choice) is available through the hotel.
Kitzbühel has over 1,000 km of hiking paths. The hotel offers a hiking package including a 3-day hiking ticket, free cable car use, daily guided tours, and reduced entry to local attractions such as Wildpark Aurach.
Daily guided hiking tours available in summer, organized through the hotel's concierge as part of the hiking package.
On-site ski storage room for guests. Reviewers note low ceilings at the exit point — worth knowing if you have tall equipment bags.
The hotel is walking distance from the Hahnenkamm cable car valley station and the legendary Streif downhill course. The wider Kitzbühel ski area offers over 200 km of pistes. World Cup races are held here each January.
