Why It Matters
One of the very few fully adults-only, guests-only hotels directly on Lake Garda. Every single room faces the lake. The private spa (Piccolo Sogno) can be booked exclusively for your own use — no sharing with other guests. The hotel's own kitchen garden supplies herbs, tomatoes, and citrus to the bistrot.
Val di Sogno translates as 'valley of dreams', and this adults-only hotel on the shores of Lake Garda leans fully into that identity. Sitting in a quiet bay 2km south of Malcesine town, it's built from local wood, stone, and marble — materials that feel deliberate and grounding rather than decorative. All 35 rooms and suites face the lake with private balconies, and the garden with its heated pool seems to dissolve right into the water.

Complimentary bicycles available at reception for guests to explore the lakeside path to Malcesine (about 2km, under 10 minutes by bike) or further afield. Convenient bike storage on-site. MTB storage available.
Monte Baldo and the surrounding hills offer excellent trekking and Nordic walking routes accessible from the hotel. The concierge can provide route recommendations.
Excursions with expert local guides available. Options include exploring the medieval villages around the lake, trekking Monte Baldo, visiting the Sanctuary of Madonna della Corona, or excursions to Verona.
Direct access to the public gravel beach from the hotel garden — just a few steps. The beach is publicly owned (no private lido or sun loungers on the beach itself). Bathing shoes strongly recommended as the shore is gravel and stone, not sand.
The Val di Sogno bay is known for the Ora afternoon wind, ideal for surfing, kitesurfing, SUP, and sailing. Operators are nearby; the hotel concierge can assist with arrangements.
