Hotel Supetar is a 21-room boutique hotel inside a three-storey stone mansion built at the turn of the 20th century — sitting literally on top of the ruins of the ancient Roman settlement of Epidaurum. It's right on Cavtat's pedestrian waterfront promenade, with the Dubrovnik ferry dock steps from the front door. The garden grows actual orange and lemon trees around a quiet outdoor pool, and the fine-dining restaurant looks straight out over the bay.
