Named after Dutch poet Roemer Visscher, the hotel keeps the original architectural bones intact while layering in contemporary art and modern rooms. It's a genuinely compact property — 38 rooms split between the main building and an annex directly across the street — so don't expect a grand lobby or resort-scale amenities. What you do get is a well-executed boutique feel, individual room design, and a location that puts the Museum Quarter, Vondelpark, and canal ring all within easy walking distance.
