Hotel Monville is a 20-story, 269-room tower that opened in March 2018 in the heart of Montreal's Quartier international, steps from the Palais des congrès convention centre. Designed by ACDF Architecture, the building makes an immediate impression with its black-and-white prefabricated concrete panels and a grid of floor-to-ceiling windows — each window corresponds to a single room. Inside, the lobby runs three stories tall with warm oak wood, a DJ booth, a library, and self-check-in kiosks, and the whole place is famous for one thing above all: H2M2, Canada's first hotel room-service robot (upgraded to a FlashBot by Pudu Robotics in January 2026).

Hotel Monville has 27 accessible rooms, and the property is Kéroul certified and ADISQ Award-winning for accessible tourism design. Rooms feature extra space around beds and bathrooms, no-threshold showers, and standard adjustments for wheelchair maneuverability. Each window on the exterior is still floor-to-ceiling.

The top-of-the-range room and the one that gets all the Instagram attention. Wrap-around floor-to-ceiling windows on the 16th floor command a sweeping view of downtown Montreal. Built on a corner so the panorama is essentially continuous. Spacious enough to genuinely work from if you are doing a remote stay, and the daylight is excellent.

The entry point, and genuinely smaller than you might hope for. But the floor-to-ceiling window makes the room feel bigger than it is. White walls, warm wood accents, grey carpet, black doors — strictly monochromatic. The hotel has 54 suites out of its 269 rooms. Suites add a separate seating area, a second TV, and bathrobes — and the views from the higher floors are the hotel's best selling point. Corner positioning on some suites means two large windows framing the Quartier des spectacles. The design language stays the same: white walls, black accents, warm oak, grey carpet.

Order breakfast or housekeeping items through your TV and the hotel's robot — now a FlashBot by Pudu Robotics as of January 2026 — delivers directly to your door. The original H2M2 launched in March 2018, making Monville the first hotel in Canada with autonomous room-service robot delivery. The upgraded FlashBot carries 2–4 delivery compartments vs the original's single compartment. Available Monday–Friday 6:30am–10:30am and weekends 7am–noon for breakfast service.
Located on the 20th floor with 360-degree panoramic views over Quartier des spectacles and downtown Montreal. Warm décor, local menu, and a Montréal atmosphere. Guests only during standard hours; the hotel occasionally opens it for public events like the '5@9' evenings. Can also be privatized for corporate or personal events.
Monville was Canada's first hotel with web-enabled check-in 24 hours prior to arrival and self-check-in kiosks in the lobby. Doing online check-in can unlock early room access — sometimes as early as 1pm. The front desk team is still present for questions.
