Why It Matters
Home to Restaurant L.A. Jordan, the first two-Michelin-star restaurant on the German Wine Road, awarded its second star in 2023. The property is intimately connected to three top-tier sister wineries (Bassermann-Jordan, Reichsrat von Buhl, Von Winning), which are literally steps from the hotel gate. History of the estate goes back to the Middle Ages; the pivotal year 1718 is woven into the name of one of its restaurants.
A 18-room luxury boutique hotel set inside a converted vintner's estate in the historic center of Deidesheim, on Germany's famed Wine Road. The Jordan family's centuries-old connection to the region's wine culture runs through everything here — antique furnishings, that serene inner courtyard, a wine cellar with bottles dating back to 1811. The big draw is having a two-Michelin-star restaurant (L.A. Jordan) practically in the same courtyard. But the hotel itself earns its keep: no two rooms share the same floor plan, and the interiors lean contemporary-minimal without losing the warmth of the 18th-century bones.

Standard Zimmer
