Hotel Hotel (yes, the name is intentional) opened in 2022 on a quiet side street that feeds directly onto Avenida da Liberdade. The interiors are a genuine collaboration — a rotating cast of Portuguese artists, illustrators, ceramicists, and landscape architects each shaped different parts of the building, resulting in a palette of red and black marble, earth tones, and dense greenery that feels less like a hotel lobby and more like a living art space. At the center of it all is a striking black outdoor pool surrounded by botanical garden planting, inspired by the neighboring Botanical Garden of Lisbon.
