Hotel Erwin has been a Venice Beach institution since 1975, when founder Erwin Sokol opened it as the first boutique hotel in the area. It sits directly on Pacific Avenue, steps from the boardwalk and Muscle Beach, with 119 rooms and suites spread across the building. The rooftop bar (now Kassi Venice Beach) is the main draw for locals and visitors alike, offering unobstructed Pacific views at golden hour.
