A 16-suite boutique hotel built to look — and feel — like a 19th-century Portuguese estate. The deep pink façade, actual grapevines climbing the walls, and three distinct period-style buildings (Casarão Lisboa, Casa Porto, and a glass Solarium with stained glass imported from Vietnam) make this the most architecturally interesting small hotel in Florianópolis. It sits two blocks from the restaurants and bars of Lagoa da Conceição, so you're not marooned, but the property itself is quiet enough that you'd barely know the nightlife is close.

The hotel's showpiece — a two-story suite with a private terrace and its own plunge pool on the rooftop, looking out over Lagoa da Conceição.
