Why It Matters

One of Palma's few true historic palace conversions in the Call Jueu (Jewish Quarter), the oldest part of the old city. The Ferrer-Quintana family remodeled the building in the 18th century, and the hotel has preserved the entrance arch, baroque patio, and a spectacular Marés stone vault. Every room is unique, shaped by the building's original footprint. The Michelin Guide selected it as a fine example of the city's boutique hotel scene.

A 17th-century Mallorcan noble house in the heart of Palma's medieval Jewish Quarter, converted into a 27-room luxury boutique hotel. The baroque courtyard and Marés stone vault have been painstakingly restored, and the rooms feel genuinely different from one another — original wrought-iron balconies, Mallorcan shutters, and Ikat fabrics set the tone throughout. It's a proper historic building with real character, not a themed recreation.

Classic Double Room

The entry-level rooms here are 'relatively cozy' by Michelin's own description — which is honest. Designed with careful attention to detail, they feature the hotel's signature compass-design wooden headboards, Mallorcan fabrics, and either exterior street views or views into the interior courtyard of the house. Good for solo travelers or couples who plan to spend most of their time out exploring the city.

Deluxe Double Room

These were the noble rooms of the original house — the private, most prized spaces — and that heritage shows. Original architectural elements from the building's 17th and 18th-century history have been preserved and incorporated into the design. Spacious, with a massive comfortable bed (per guest reviews), a seating area, and the kind of atmospheric detail you don't get in a new-build hotel.

Family Suite

Described by Michelin as 'properly palatial' — a two-room layout separated by a hall, making it the most spacious option in the hotel. The 27 rooms are all shaped by the original building footprint, so this is genuinely large rather than just marketing-speak.

Suite

The most representative room in the hotel — originally the main hall of the noble house. Think high coffered ceilings, a canopy bed, a standalone bathtub, and two balconies facing a quiet street in the historic center. City views, champagne on arrival, and the full palatial experience. Properly dramatic.

A step up in space and light. The Superior rooms are designed around an interplay of colors and textures to create what feels like a genuinely distinct space. Still follows the hotel's maritime-travel design language but with more breathing room. Features a seating area.
