Hotel Antigua Palma
Contemporary classic — restrained colors, natural light, maritime travel motifs woven into the decor (map references, travel notebooks, compass-design headboards), and local materials like Binissalem stone and Ikat fabric. Feels more like staying in someone's beautifully preserved family home than a conventional hotel.
Book the spa slot in advance — ideally before arrival — as it's exclusive-use and gets reserved quickly, especially in high season
Why It Matters
One of Palma's few true historic palace conversions in the Call Jueu (Jewish Quarter), the oldest part of the old city. The Ferrer-Quintana family remodeled the building in the 18th century, and the hotel has preserved the entrance arch, baroque patio, and a spectacular Marés stone vault. Every room is unique, shaped by the building's original footprint. The Michelin Guide selected it as a fine example of the city's boutique hotel scene.
A 17th-century Mallorcan noble house in the heart of Palma's medieval Jewish Quarter, converted into a 27-room luxury boutique hotel. The baroque courtyard and Marés stone vault have been painstakingly restored, and the rooms feel genuinely different from one another — original wrought-iron balconies, Mallorcan shutters, and Ikat fabrics set the tone throughout. It's a proper historic building with real character, not a themed recreation.
