A sharp little 24-room boutique hotel built in 2016 right next to Andernach's well-preserved medieval city walls — the exact spot where the old 'Ochsentor' city gate once stood, through which cattle and sheep were driven into town. The hotel was designed by Munich-based Peter Buchberger, with each floor running its own color palette to keep things from feeling repetitive.
