Why It Matters
Michelin Guide-listed boutique with just 12 suites built directly into the volcanic cliffside. Every room has a sea view, and most have a private hot tub or plunge pool. Gourmet Greek food is served al fresco on tables set between the infinity pool and the Aegean. The Cave Suite is literally carved from volcanic rock.
Hōm calls itself a summerhouse, which undersells it. This 12-suite adults-only property opened in 2023, carved right into the cliffs of Oia with every room facing the caldera. The design leans hard into ancient Greek aesthetics — curved walls, earthy tones, oval shapes — but with a clean, contemporary execution that feels genuinely thought-through rather than themed. It's footwear-optional, drinks-anytime, and sized small enough that you rarely run into other guests.

The standout of the lineup. Literally carved from the volcanic rock of the caldera cliffs, this 30 m² suite has a moody, grotto-like feel with minimal design and a private outdoor hot tub with direct sea views. For two — no kids, no extra guests. The Michelin Guide flags this one specifically.

Running 32–36 m², the Deluxe steps up with a sofa sitting area alongside the private outdoor hot tub and sea views. The morning routine here involves waking up to a king-size bed with the Aegean visible through the glass window — a solid choice for the midpoint of the suite range.

The entry-level option. At 27 m², it's the most compact of the bunch, tucked into a mezzanine-level spot within the main building. No private outdoor hot tub or pool, but it still has a king-size bed, JBL audio, and a Nespresso machine. Good for guests spending most of their time at the communal pool.

Traditional Cycladic style on the upper level of the property. At 26 m² it's the smallest of the hot tub suites, but the private outdoor hot tub with sea view and its own terrace make it a solid mid-tier pick for couples wanting privacy over square footage.

The top of the range at 43 m², sleeping up to three. What sets it apart is a spiral staircase leading to a private terrace with a plunge pool — plus an oversized marble bathroom. King bed faces the sea. The Michelin Guide describes it as having 'the lavish master suite with its oversized marble bathroom.' This is the one for a honeymoon or a serious splurge.

A high-floor 37 m² suite with a sea view from the king-size bed. More space than the Double or Cave, with a built-in couch sitting area. No private hot tub, but a well-sized room with bright Cycladic colors and solid amenities.

At 40 m², this is one of the largest hot tub suites on offer. Big enough for a proper sofa sitting area, with the outdoor hot tub and sea views you'd expect at this level. The hotel's own description calls it their 'signature big size room.'
