Harmony Seljalandsfoss
Minimalist Scandinavian glass architecture meets raw Icelandic wilderness. Clean lines, warm wood, bespoke furniture. The vibe is total solitude with a touch of Paris-designed sophistication — the property was conceived in collaboration with Studio Bloom Paris.
Book the Georg Lodge and the Lilja Lodge together for a group of 3–4; they are deliberately placed far apart, so two couples get near-total privacy from each other.
Why It Matters
One of only two lodges on the property, each with its own private glass-fronted sauna and outdoor Nordic hot tub. Michelin Key Selected. Featured in the NYT T Magazine, Financial Times, and Forbes. Tablet Hotels named it one of the best new boutique hotel designs in Europe for 2026. Adults-only, strict two-guest maximum per lodge, and no restaurant on-site — this place is deliberately, defiantly self-contained.
Two glass lodges, placed almost comically far apart on open South Icelandic farmland, each sleeping exactly two. You can see Seljalandsfoss waterfall from inside your lodge. No restaurant, no reception desk, no other guests wandering past your window — just you, the mountains, and a private hot tub. The lodges are designed almost entirely from glass, including the bedroom ceiling, so Northern Lights or midnight sun become part of your room's decor.

On Property
How you'll actually spend your days.
During summer (May–August), the sky stays light well into the night, cycling through soft pink and magenta before dawn. The glass roof makes this an atmospheric in-room experience. Sleep masks are provided.
The glass bedroom ceiling and near-zero light pollution make each lodge an ideal Northern Lights observatory. Visible late August through late April on clear, dark nights. The aurora forecast and cloud cover can be checked every 15 minutes using apps and vedur.is. Guests have watched the lights from their bed and from the outdoor hot tub.
Each lodge's private glass-fronted sauna and outdoor Nordic hot tub are available throughout the stay. The hot tub faces the Eyjafjöll mountains and is a natural counterpoint to a day of driving and hiking.
Visible directly from the lodges and 5.6 miles by road. The waterfall has a path that leads behind the cascade — particularly striking at golden hour. Floodlit at night. The nearby Gljúfrabúi waterfall is partially hidden behind a rock face and sees far fewer visitors.
