A 42-room boutique hotel in Paris's 14th arrondissement, part of the Orso Hotels group, built around a genuinely unusual concept: a bungalow-style cabane constructed from French forest wood sits at the end of a private footbridge in the hotel's interior garden. The main building is a classic ivory Haussmann-era structure with a slate roof and arched dormer windows, but step inside and you get a country-house atmosphere — garden deckchairs, a library corner, a brick bar, communal table, and rooms curated by Selency, Wilo & Grove, and Galerie Incognito. Orso's formula applies here: warm service from the first bite of freshly baked arrival cake, artisan soap in the bathrooms, and a locally sourced breakfast that actually earns that label.

The entry-level room and a fair reflection of the hotel's DNA — small but considered. At 13m², these are compact by any standard. But the soothing palette, quality bedding, bright tiled bathroom with walk-in shower, and curated furniture from Selency mean it never feels like an afterthought. Most overlook the interior garden. No bathtub — shower only.

The whole point of this hotel. Reached via a private outdoor footbridge, this standalone bungalow sits in the interior garden and is built entirely from wood sourced from French forests. Inside: a king-size bed, heated bathroom floors, a light therapy shower for two, private garden terrace, Bluetooth speaker, and a faux-1960s California vibe with shell-shaped light fixtures from Atelier A, a Butterfly armchair, and Berber rugs. It's the most luxurious room in the hotel by a significant margin and the only 'treehouse' accommodation in Paris.

Superior Room
A step up in space and light. At 15m², not dramatically larger than a Classic, but with better natural light, more refined decor, and a more generous feel. The design aesthetic is the same warm Selency-curated palette. Same shower-only bathroom. Worth the upcharge if you're spending any real time in the room.
