A 19th-century neoclassical landmark sitting right on the Alassio beach — this is one of the few proper grand hotels left on the Ligurian Riviera. Built in the 1800s in the style of the grand palaces of the Côte d'Azur, it quickly became a favourite of discerning British travellers who fell for the Riviera di Ponente. The architecture stays faithful to its Belle Époque origins from the street, while the interiors lean clean and contemporary: minimalist lines, saturated colours, and design that moves fluidly between Art Nouveau and today. The largest suite in the hotel at 88 sqm — the Presidential Suite by any other name. Three separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large living room, and a terrace overlooking the sea. Sleeps up to 7. The interiors are enriched with significant original artworks as part of the Talassio 4 Art initiative, in collaboration with major Italian galleries.
