Garberhof

Why It Matters
Holds the claim to Italy's largest hotel hammam (built 2009), a wellness area spanning over 3,000 m², its own vineyard producing the house wine 'Senza Peso', and an in-house artisanal gin called Felix Luis — named after the owner's firstborn. The property has been on Tablet Hotels since being recognised as a standout boutique property in the Alps.
Started life as a hiker's guesthouse in 1981. Now it's a polished 4-star superior alpine resort run by the Pobitzer family, complete with Italy's largest hotel hammam, a curated fine art collection, and rooms that got a complete overhaul in 2022. The design language is clean and alpine: parquet floors, copper accents, huge picture windows framing the Ortles peaks. Every category — even the entry-level doubles — gets a private balcony and a separate living area. Since December 2025, the dining areas have been rebuilt from scratch using Ceppo di Gré stone, local birch and walnut, and Occhio lighting.
