The Ghiberti suite is the only studio-format room and can be connected to the adjacent suite — good for small groups of up to six

Why It Matters

Selected by the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels. The only property in Florence where Archea Associati — one of Italy's most celebrated architecture studios — designed the building renovation AND every piece of furniture from scratch. Each suite is essentially a site-specific art installation.

Six suites in a restored early 19th-century building at the foot of the Piazzale Michelangelo hill, each one named after and designed in tribute to a master of Italian art — Donatello, Bernini, Cellini, Ghiberti, Michelangelo, and Canova. The entire interior was conceived by Florentine studio Archea Associati, who also built every stick of custom furniture. Concrete floors, muted grays, unpainted wood, and corten steel are the palette — austere on paper, genuinely warm in person.
