Minimalist European design sensibility in an unlikely Dubai setting. White plaster walls, walnut wood, marble countertops, and black powder-coated aluminum furniture with brushed brass knobs. The wooden beams framing the open lobby and restaurant are a deliberate nod to the traditional dhow boats still being hand-built in the neighborhood.

Why It Matters
The first and only Design Hotels™ member in the Middle East. Designed by Architecture-Studio, whose portfolio includes the European Parliament. The hotel deliberately positions itself as the anti-Dubai Dubai hotel — no gold leaf, no over-the-top excess — just precise, considered design with a 'clean eating' dining philosophy and a rooftop half-Olympic pool overlooking boatyards and Dubai Creek.
FORM Hotel is Dubai's answer to the question nobody thought to ask: what if a hotel here was actually restrained? Designed by Paris-based Architecture-Studio (the same firm behind the European Parliament in Strasbourg), this is the first Design Hotels™ property in the entire Middle East. The all-white façade with its irregular window cutouts sits in the historic Al Jaddaf boatyard district, right across from Culture Village. Inside, the brief was 'discreet and less showy' — and for Dubai, that alone makes it remarkable.

Cozy Room
The entry-level room, and honest about it — the name says 'cozy,' and they mean it. At 21 sq.m., this is not a sprawling Dubai suite. But the design is sharp: light stone flooring, walnut wood accents, and a large window with views over Dubai Creek or the Al Jaddaf neighborhood. Custom FORM Spring Air™ pillow-top mattress, walk-in rain shower, 49-inch HDTV with Google Chromecast, and Elemental Herbology toiletries.
Queen (160cm x 200cm) · 21 sqmIdeal King
A step up in size from the Cozy, at 24 sq.m. The same considered design language — light stone, walnut wood, large windows with city views — but with a bit more breathing room and a proper lounging area. Works well as both a work base and somewhere to decompress after a day on the metro. Also configurable as a twin.

Ideal Twin
Same footprint as the Ideal King at 24 sq.m., but configured with two separate beds. Good for colleagues traveling together or friends who want their own space without getting into a suite. The layout is straightforward — two custom beds, a work desk, and a large window looking out over the neighborhood.

Mega Suite
Only 7 of these exist in the building, and they're proper suites — 50 sq.m. with a separate living room, two bathrooms with walk-in rain showers each, and a double-width vanity basin. Located on the building's corners, so the double-aspect windows frame both old Dubai (the boatyard, the creek) and new (the skyline). Upgraded mini-bar stocked with premium products, Le Labo toiletries instead of the standard Elemental Herbology, handpicked books on shelves, and two 49-inch TVs. For Dubai, this is actually modest — and that's the point.

Corner rooms with the double-aspect views that make them worth the upgrade. At 28–30 sq.m., the Plus+ rooms sit at the building's corners so the tall windows look out over both Dubai Creek and the Al Jaddaf neighborhood simultaneously — a rare urban composition. Built-in wardrobes and a separate bathroom add proper functionality.
