Why It Matters
Featured in the New York Times '36 Hours in Palm Springs' and Sunset Magazine. The property's origin story — owners buying mysterious flower seeds in rural France that bloomed black — is the playful mythology the whole hotel is built around. La Boisson is one of the more distinctive bars in Palm Springs.
Fleur Noire is a 21-and-over boutique hotel on North Indian Canyon Drive, built in the 1940s as Burket's Trade Winds Hotel and fully reimagined into a 21-room floral fever dream. Large-scale botanical murals by artist Louise Jones (aka Ouizi) cover the exterior walls, while Ellie Cashman's bold floral wallpaper lines every room. The signature move is La Boisson, a speakeasy rosé and champagne bar tucked behind pink doors — your first glass is always on the house.

Life-size outdoor chess set and a cornhole board set up on the property grounds. Casual, fun, and very on-brand for the hotel's grown-up garden party vibe.
The original pool from the 1940s Burket's Trade Winds Hotel era, fully restored and now the centerpiece of the property. Heated daily from 7am–10pm, surrounded by lounge chairs, cabanas, floral umbrellas, and large-scale botanical murals. Mountain views from the deck.
Complimentary pink vintage-style cruiser bikes for guests to explore Palm Canyon Drive and the surrounding area. Locks provided. A fun way to cover the 1.5 miles to downtown without a car.
Non-guests can purchase day passes starting at $33 via Resort Pass for access to the pool and La Boisson rosé bar. A solid option for Palm Springs visitors not staying at the hotel.
The property hosts intimate weddings and private events in its courtyard and grounds, with the murals and La Boisson bar as natural backdrops. Custom packages available through the hotel's events team.
