Why It Matters
The Monkey Bar is the real differentiator — it's an Asian-inspired cocktail bar with its own Instagram following, DJ nights Thu–Sat, and weekend Jungle Brunch with live music. The Acquapura City SPA just completed an architectural redesign, and sauna and steam access are complimentary for all guests. No pool, but the wellness setup is genuinely solid.
Falkensteiner sits on Opletalova street, two blocks from Wenceslas Square and a literal 2-minute walk from the main train station — the location is hard to beat. The look is contemporary European: moody lighting, wood floors, sculptural furniture in deep reds and blacks. Nothing here nods to old-world Prague, and that's entirely the point. All 109 rooms have Nespresso machines, soundproof windows, and pillow menus. The smallest Double is 14-18 m², which is compact. But step out into the Monkey Bar and the energy shifts — this cocktail bar draws actual locals, not just hotel guests.

The top room category at 42 m² and the most character-rich option in the hotel. Features a historic alcove with lounge sofa, a deep freestanding bathtub, and views over Prague. The bold red furnishings and layered textures make this the most photogenic room in the building. Free use of the Acquapura City SPA is included.

Deluxe Room
At 24–30 m², the Deluxe Room is where the space genuinely opens up. Configured for two adults and one child, with a proper seating area and king bed. The design leans into deeper colours and richer textures compared to the entry-level rooms.

Double Room
The entry-level room and the most compact option at 14–18 m². Cosy rather than spacious, with wooden floors, soundproof windows, and a Nespresso machine. Good for solo travellers or couples who plan to spend most of their time out in the city.

At 34–39 m², the Junior Suite brings proper suite proportions with parquet flooring, a dedicated lounge area, and significantly more breathing room. Suits two adults and one child comfortably. Good value relative to the step up in size.

Twin version of the Junior Suite at 34–39 m², with all the same suite-level features and two separate beds. Works well for families or friends who want more space without booking two rooms.
