Escape opened in October 2004 when Sam and Gaenor converted a grand Victorian villa — previously split into five flats — into Llandudno's first boutique B&B. The Times called it one of the UK's coolest B&Bs, and 21 years on it still holds that title. Nine individually themed rooms sit inside a preserved Victorian shell of original hardwood floors, oak panelling, stained glass, and handcrafted fireplaces, all wrapped around a guest lounge with an honesty bar and views through original bay windows.

The details that matter for planning.
The property has no lift and is not wheelchair accessible due to the Victorian layout. All rooms are on the first or second floor. Access from car park involves a sloped path and multiple stair flights. Not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
