Why It Matters
Award-winning prefab timber construction using locally sourced wood, ski-in/ski-out access to Switzerland's largest ski domain, and the adjacent Grands Bains d'Hérémence thermal spa complex — inspired by Japanese onsens — opened in December 2023.
Eringer opened in December 2021 and is one of the more thoughtfully built alpine hotels in the Swiss Alps. At 1,800+ meters in Thyon-Les Collons, it sits ski-in/ski-out on the massive 4 Vallées domain — 410 kilometers of slopes — with direct views of the Dent Blanche and Matterhorn. The rooms and suites were prefabricated less than 65 kilometers away using sustainably harvested wood, an award-winning modular construction by Modubois. Look, it's not trying to be Verbier, and that's the point: strong design, honest pricing, and five on-site dining concepts in a location most people haven't heard of.

The entry-level room, and at 21 m² it's honestly quite compact. Contemporary alpine-chic styling with warm wood finishes. Can be configured as a double or twins. No balcony, but the design is well-executed — smart TV, minibar, Italian shower with heated towel rack, and eco-friendly STOP THE WATER toiletries.

Duplex Suite
On the fifth and top floor, spread across two levels totalling 49 m². Sleeps up to six — two bedrooms upstairs (one double, one convertible twin/double) plus a sofa bed in the living area below. Big bay windows frame the Dent Blanche and Matterhorn. Good for a group of friends or a family wanting real suite space.

Loft Suite
On the top floor, 39 m² across a combined bedroom and living area. High ceilings, wide bay windows, and a balcony accessible from both the sleeping and living zones. The sofa converts for two extra guests. Genuinely feels like understated luxury — not ostentatious, just very well done. The separate bathtub alongside the rainfall shower is a nice touch.

The flagship, at 90 m² over two levels. Three bedrooms — one double, one twin/double, one with pull-out beds — plus a sofa bed in the living area. This is the chalet-within-a-hotel option for large groups who want to stay together in something special.
