El Cielo Resort Valle de Guadalupe
Tuscan-Californian wine country resort. Think ochre villas, vineyard rows, outdoor fire pits, and a laid-back luxury that leans more hacienda than hotel. Wine is genuinely central — not a marketing angle.

Why It Matters
One of the first and largest luxury hotels in Valle de Guadalupe — Mexico's most important wine region — with its own working winery producing award-winning labels. The Latitud 32 restaurant has a Michelin recognition. The private chapel 'Nuestra Señora de los Milagros' is the only consecrated chapel in the entire valley.
El Cielo sits on 71 acres of rolling Baja vineyards along Mexico's Wine Route — Tuscan-Californian architecture, two scenic lakes, and the only consecrated private chapel in Valle de Guadalupe. CEO Gustavo Ortega started buying land here to make wine, then built the boutique resort around it. The result is a place where you can do a sommelier-led cave tasting, eat Baja-Yucatán fusion at Latitud 32, and fall asleep to frogs by the lake.
