Dunton River Camp sits on Cresto Ranch, a former cattle ranch dating to the late 1800s, along the West Fork of the Dolores River in southwestern Colorado. Just eight safari-style tents — four overlooking the river, four tucked into aspen trees — max capacity of 16 guests. Everything is included: all meals, all booze (except the Reserve wine list), mountain bikes, sauna, and laundry. Open June through mid-October only.

Same specs inside: king bed, gas stove, 6-foot soaker tub, double vanity, towel warmer. Private deck looks out to the San Juan peaks. Four of the eight total tents across both categories can be reconfigured as XL twin beds for father-son pairs or friends.

King bed, gas stove on thermostat, and an en-suite bathroom with a 6-foot soaking tub, shower, double vanity, and towel warmer. Private porch faces the river. Ideal for anglers — fishing is literally steps away. Note: the river is loud at night.
