The original property in the Dream Hotels portfolio, opened in 2004 as Dream New York and recast as Dream Midtown after a 2015 renovation. Housed in a genuine 1895 Beaux-Arts building, it punches above its weight in Midtown with three distinct bars, an Italian restaurant, and a basement event lounge — all under one roof, a block from Carnegie Hall.
A restored 1895 Beaux-Arts building on Broadway at 55th Street, Dream Midtown leans hard into the nightlife and boutique energy side of Midtown Manhattan. The Hyatt-affiliated property has 221 rooms across bronze, silver, gold, and platinum tiers, a rooftop bar with Times Square views that draws its own crowd, and a basement game lounge housing a 5,000-gallon fish tank. Carnegie Hall is literally one block away. Central Park is four.
