A 5-star all-suite design hotel sitting right on Tyrol's only 36-hole championship golf course, at 650 metres above sea level on the sunny southern side of the Alps in East Tyrol. All 78 suites range from 45 to 205 sqm, all done in Italian designer furniture, king-size beds, and bathrooms in Spanish natural stone. The Vincena restaurant holds 2 Gault Millau toques and a Michelin recommendation, the spa runs to 1,000 sqm, and in winter the fairways convert to cross-country ski trails.

Tyrol's only 36-hole course, made up of four independent 9-hole loops: the Volvo Course (island green signature hole), the Falstaff Course (longest loop, challenging par 5s), the Keuco Course (fairest and most popular), and the Kleine Zeitung Course (tactical water hazards). The course sits at 675m on flat ground, making it walkable. Season runs April to late October. Hotel guests get a 30% green fee discount.
Two ski resorts near Lienz — Zettersfeld and Hochstein — are accessible from the hotel. Both offer sun-drenched slopes in the Lienz Dolomites.
When snow covers the fairways in winter, a well-tended cross-country ski trail runs directly from the hotel door over the 36-hole course. No transfers required.
One of Austria's more serious golf schools, with a team of seven professional golfers running beginner and advanced sessions. Courses are carefully graded by skill level and can be combined with the resort's golf packages. PING and Callaway premium rental sets available.
