Why It Matters
One of the few design-forward boutique hotels in Saint-Germain. Nearly every piece of furniture was crafted exclusively for the property. The rooftop bar (Il Dolce Farniente) is one of the best-positioned in Paris for Eiffel Tower views, and it's open to the public — not just hotel guests. Holds the Clef Verte (Green Key) sustainability certification.
A former 1950s theatre school turned 4-star boutique hotel, Hôtel Dame des Arts opened in early 2023 after a full overhaul by Parisian designer Raphael Navot. The result is 109 rooms over eight floors with flame-blackened oak floors, over 700 original artworks, and a rooftop bar perched on the ninth floor with unobstructed views of the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame and Montmartre. It sits on the Left Bank at the intersection of Boulevards Saint-Michel and Saint-Germain — Saint-Michel Notre-Dame RER station is literally a two-minute walk from the door.

Classic Room
The entry-level option, and yes, they are small by international standards — 12 to 17 sqm. But Navot's stripped-back design and floor-to-ceiling windows make them feel larger than the numbers suggest. Bijou but thoughtfully executed, with bespoke furniture and original artwork. Many have interconnecting doors, making them good for families travelling with kids.

Two 15 sqm rooms linked by an internal door, accommodating 2–4 guests. The practical family option in a hotel that otherwise skews toward couples. Each room retains all standard amenities.

At 29 sqm with an Eiffel Tower view terrace, this is the flagship suite for most guests. Sleeps 2–3. Navot's interiors are at their most generous here — there's room to actually move around. The terrace with Tower views at golden hour is genuinely special.

Steps up to 21 sqm and accommodates up to three guests. Positioned on the upper floors for the best Tower and city views. Walk-in rain shower and bespoke furnishings. Complimentary minibar. One of ten rooms in this category — worth targeting early when booking.

The sweet spot for most guests. At 19 sqm, it's not huge but well-proportioned, with Navot's fluted headboard, charred oak floors, and wall-to-wall windows with both sheer and blackout curtains. Four accessible (wheelchair-friendly) rooms in this category are located on floors two to five, each equipped with handrails and walk-in showers.
