Dreamy, Creamy Serenity. A 20sqm room that is an exercise in tonal restraint: white, cream and fawn in linen, cotton, plaster and stone. Windows face the private courtyard and bring in soft natural light. Features an 1800 Sicilian mahogany feather desk, Eames Wire Chair DKW (1950), Richard Sapper Tizio desk lamp (1972) and custom Comiso stone bedside tables. Elegantly Amused. A bright, airy 20sqm room with playful green velvet wall panels directly opposite an 1800s antique dresser from the family collection. Roman-era antiquities frame the headboard. Furniture includes a Boqa Acapulco Chair (1950s), Greta Grossman Gräshoppa floor lamp (1947) and an 1800 Sicilian mahogany feather chiffonier. Bathroom is in buttery cream tones. No hammam shower (Superior category). Interconnects with Spiga for family use.

Concentrated Class. A 21sqm room built on aesthetic balance and deliberately muted curation. Natural light creates shifting geometric shadows throughout the day. Eames Wire Chair DKW (1950), a Le Corbusier Lampe de Marseille (1949/52), bedside tables hand-carved from volcanic stone, and a Lampe Gras No. 210 (1921) are among the design pieces. Bathroom references old-world architecture with geometric angles and iron panelling. Overlooks the interior courtyard.

Dark and Stormy. Inky tones and entrancing geometrical patterns dominate this 22sqm room. Art is characterised by sculptured life forms from nature and humanity — including twin head casts by Sicilian artist Alessio Barchitta (who trained at the nearby Brera Academy). Handmade woodwork cabinetry adds texture and warmth. Statement pieces include Bernard Schottlander Mantis BS5 wall lamps (1951) and a custom wooden sofa bed. The bathroom features a striking designer radiator shaped like a planet and a hammam shower with chromotherapy.

Venezia and Bagutta booked together form the Scala — a private two-bedroom suite on the first floor with exclusive use of a living and kitchen space. The kitchenette is fully equipped: Fabita induction hob, microwave, sink, Nespresso coffee-cappuccino machine, fully stocked fridge, and snacks. Sleeps up to six. Ideal for families or two couples wanting apartment-style privacy. Venezia has the hammam shower; Bagutta has a standard shower.
Spiga
Intensely Plush. Chalky grey meets rich earthy brown in a layered mix of textures, shadow and natural materials. The woven fabric wallpaper runs around the room like a crown moulding that's slipped down to rest above the doorframe. Key pieces include Lars Tornøe Kizu table lamps (2015), a Hvidt & Mølgaard Tripod HM8 floor lamp (1953), and a custom sofa bed upholstered in Colefax & Fowler velvet.
