Insider Tip

Ask the concierge for restaurant reservations — they know the actual good spots, not just the tourist traps. They've been known to get tables at places with long waits.

Why It Matters

Every object is a deliberate choice — Eames wire chairs, 1800s Sicilian mahogany chiffoniers, Le Corbusier lamps, Alessi kettles, sculpture by Brera Academy graduates. The rooms share no design language with each other beyond exceptional curation. It sits a 2-minute walk from Via Montenapoleone and around the corner from the Casa Manzoni museum.

Six individually designed rooms across two floors of a neoclassical 19th-century palazzo on a quiet side street between Via Montenapoleone and La Scala. This is not a hotel — no restaurant, no gym, no room service. What it is, is one of Milan's most considered design addresses: each room is its own curated world of mid-century icons, Italian antiques, contemporary sculpture and designer lighting. The concierge team are proper Milanese insiders.

Concentrated Class. A 21sqm room built on aesthetic balance and deliberately muted curation. Natural light creates shifting geometric shadows throughout the day. Eames Wire Chair DKW (1950), a Le Corbusier Lampe de Marseille (1949/52), bedside tables hand-carved from volcanic stone, and a Lampe Gras No. 210 (1921) are among the design pieces. Bathroom references old-world architecture with geometric angles and iron panelling. Overlooks the interior courtyard.

Dark and Stormy. Inky tones and entrancing geometrical patterns dominate this 22sqm room. Handmade woodwork cabinetry adds texture and warmth. Statement pieces include Bernard Schottlander Mantis BS5 wall lamps (1951) and a custom wooden sofa bed. The bathroom features a striking designer radiator shaped like a planet and a hammam shower with chromotherapy.
