Founded by a Hollywood actor. Only 41 rooms total, making it the largest property on Briland — but still feels small.
Coral Sands opened in 1968 — founded by WWII fighter pilot-turned-Hollywood actor Brett King and his wife Sharon, who fell for Harbour Island and never really left. AJ Capital Partners acquired it in 2024 and put serious money into a multi-phase renovation, completing it in early 2026. The result: 41 renovated accommodations spread across eight beachfront acres, all facing one of the world's most famous pink sand beaches. It's the largest property on Harbour Island but somehow doesn't feel like it.
