Why It Matters
Nobis Hospitality Group's first hotel outside Scandinavia, opened 2021. Designed by award-winning Swedish firm Wingårdhs (Gert Wingårdh and Helena Toresson), the building dates to 1576 and retains original vaulted ceilings and stone archways. All 31 rooms feature DUX beds, Byredo toiletries, and handmade Huguet ceramic tiles. One of very few Palma city hotels with an outdoor pool.
A 16th-century former soap factory in Palma's Old Town, transformed by Stockholm's Wingårdhs studio into a 31-room boutique hotel that pulls off the Sweden-Mallorca mashup without trying too hard. Warm brass, dark wood, and handmade Huguet tiles dominate the interiors. The lounge is genuinely the social heart of the hotel — rare for a city property this size — and the courtyard pool is a genuine surprise in an urban setting.

Generously sized at 30 m² — the mid-range sweet spot. Has both a Carl Hansen Cuba chair and a full Hay sofa, so there's actually room to spread out. Same material quality throughout: Huguet tiles, DUX bed, Byredo toiletries, Lavazza machine.

Junior Suite
The largest room in the hotel at 40 m². A proper sitting room feel — two Carl Hansen Cuba chairs plus a full Hay sofa set up around a writing desk. Both floor and bathroom are tiled in locally handcrafted Huguet ceramics. Byredo toiletries, Lavazza machine, and a bathrobe that actually fits.

Standard Double
The entry-level room at 17–22 m² — compact, but don't confuse small with basic. Same Huguet tile floors, same DUX bed and Egyptian cotton, same Byredo in the bathroom. One Carl Hansen Cuba chair rather than two. No Lavazza machine noted. But full pool, lounge, and WiFi access still included.

Standard Double Attic
Standard Double on the attic floor with sloped ceilings. Compact but well-appointed with the same material quality as throughout the hotel. Good value entry point for the Nobis experience.

The workhorse category at 24–28 m². Two Carl Hansen Cuba chairs for seating but no sofa. All the same material spec as the larger rooms — Huguet tiles, DUX bed, Byredo in the bathroom — just a smaller footprint.

The one-of-a-kind room in this hotel. The interior is compact at 20 m², but a 17 m² private patio with a roof is the real reason to book it. Furniture outside, shade overhead, and views of the courtyard. Carl Hansen Cuba chairs inside too. If you want outdoor space to yourself, this is the room — there's only one.
