Why It Matters
The only 5-star property in the Val Seriana valley, opened 2024. All construction used local artisans and sustainable materials. Collina Luxury Relais is the only five-star hotel in Val Seriana, opened in 2024 by the Verzeroli family on a panoramic hilltop above Clusone. The arrival alone is memorable: you pass through a green tunnel carved into the hillside before emerging between two centuries-old olive trees. Built almost exclusively from local materials — lake stone on the walls, recycled wood throughout — it sits inside a private 26,000 sqm forest. Twelve accommodations, all with private outdoor Jacuzzis or terraces. The gourmet restaurant Beides and the My Purity Spa are both open to non-guests.
