citizenM Boston North Station is a 10-story, 272-room micro hotel that opened in August 2019 inside TD Garden's Hub on Causeway development. It's citizenM's first Boston outpost and sits literally above North Station, making it arguably the most transit-connected hotel in the city. Every room at citizenM follows the same blueprint — they are all identical. That's the point. Compact at around 14 sqm (150 sqft), but everything fits because every centimeter is intentional. The XL king bed faces a wall-to-wall window. The rain shower is powerful. A tablet on the bedside controls the TV, thermostat, lighting mood, and blackout blinds. No separate wardrobe, no clutter. For two people staying one to three nights, it works well. For longer stays with luggage, it feels tight.
