Pay the premium for a Millennium Park view room — waking up to The Bean and the park skyline is worth it

Why It Matters

MICHELIN Key-awarded in the inaugural 2025 list. One of the most architecturally significant hotel conversions in the Midwest. Cindy's rooftop is a legitimate Chicago institution. The original swimming pool — where five-time Olympic gold medalist Johnny Weissmuller once trained — has been converted to an event space visible near the lobby Shake Shack.

A 1893 Venetian Gothic landmark that spent 122 years as an elite members-only athletic club before opening its doors to everyone. Interior design by award-winning Roman and Williams leans hard into the building's sporting past — warm wood millwork, leather touches, boxing-style robes hanging in every room, and crystal cocktail carafes on the mini-bar. The location directly across from Millennium Park is genuinely one of the best in downtown Chicago. Seven food and drink outlets under one roof, Chicago's first Topgolf Swing Suite on the ground floor, and a MICHELIN Key to its name.
