Why It Matters
True ski-in/ski-out access at 2,000m in the Les Menuires Reberty quarter, with a full Cinq Mondes spa, multiple dining concepts, integrated ski shop (Rosaël Sports), and one of the best family setups in the 3 Vallées. Listed in the Michelin Guide and Tablet Hotels selection.
Chalet Hôtel Kaya sits right on the snow front at 2,000m in the Reberty quarter of Les Menuires — the quieter, higher end of the resort where you step directly onto the pistes. Fifty rooms built around stone, larch wood, slate and linen, with Andean-inspired ethnic touches that feel more expedition base camp than chocolate-box Alpine. Look, it's the 3 Vallées at your door — 600km of pistes — but the hotel earns its place as a destination in its own right: a proper Cinq Mondes spa, a buzzing ski-in Kairn restaurant, afternoon tea by the fire, and a kids camp that genuinely gives parents a break.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Meeting rooms and full event facilities for professional stays or business seminars. Multilingual staff on hand.
A daily highlight at Le Refuge — guests gather by the fireplace in the late afternoon for a gourmet tea spread: pancakes, waffles, tarts and homemade cakes alongside tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Open to adults and children.
Run during French school holidays, Mon–Fri from 4:30pm to 9:30pm (closed weekends). Ages 4–12. A dedicated children's entertainer leads manual and artistic activities, outdoor and indoor games, themed evenings (pyjama parties, cinema nights). Separate children's area with giant beanbags, board games and DVD library access. Pre-registration required; places are limited.
The chef performs live at the Kairn each morning — pancakes, crêpes, waffles, omelets, eggs every style. Alongside the full self-service buffet of local produce.
Attached to the hotel — no hiking through the resort to get kitted out. Rents skis and snowboards from leading brands (Rossignol, Dynastar, Atomic, Kastle, Lacroix, Stöckli). Also sells accessories, technical clothing and sportswear. Equipment available for pick-up from 1:30pm the day before you need it.
Walk out of the hotel and you are on the Les Menuires snow front at 2,000m. Immediate access to 600km of pistes and 200 ski lifts across the 3 Vallées — the world's largest linked ski area. The Les Boyes blue run runs right to the Kairn restaurant terrace.
The hotel's reimagined ski room — sofas, benches for boot-fitting, a coffee bar with hot drinks and fruit baskets. Not a cold locker room but a proper warm-up/wind-down living space before and after the slopes. Individual lockers with heated boot-rack dryers.
