Perched 400–500 meters above the Mediterranean in the medieval hilltop village of Eze, La Chèvre d'Or has been one of the French Riviera's defining addresses since 1953. The hotel spreads across 45 accommodations distributed throughout the original stone houses of the village — so your room might be around a corner and up a cobblestone staircase from the restaurant. What ties it all together is a relentlessly spectacular view of Villefranche Bay, Cap Ferrat, and the sea, plus a 2-Michelin-star restaurant under Meilleur Ouvrier de France chef Tom Meyer.

Positioned in the heart of the medieval village. Chic and contemporary décor with art pieces and references to the hotel's history and name. Each room is unique; some have fireplaces or other period details. Good size for the category.
Elegance Rooms
The 'cozy high perch' category — positioned higher in the village, offering character and intimacy. Exposed stone walls and beams are common. Compact but charming.
Executive Suites
Sea and garden views. A step below the Prestige Suites, these offer a comfortable suite experience within the medieval village houses, combining sea aspect with views of the terraced gardens.
Junior Suites
Entry-level suite category. Come with a private balcony with sea view — the balcony is a key feature at this category. Situated throughout the village houses.
Nietzsche Suite
Named after the philosopher who walked the Eze path while writing Thus Spoke Zarathustra. At 112 sqm, it has a spacious living room, panoramic sea-view windows, a large walk-in closet, and a private heated pool on the terrace. Slightly more intimate than the Panoramic Suite but equally spectacular views.

The hotel's showstopper. At 134 sqm, it has a generously sized living room and sleeping area framed by floor-to-ceiling picture windows facing the sea. The headline feature: a private heated infinity pool and jacuzzi on the terrace, suspended above the Mediterranean. Walk-in closet, shower and bathtub.

Royal Suite
One of the three signature suites at the property. Features a full panoramic sea view. Exact dimensions not published but positioned at the top of the hotel's room hierarchy below the Panoramic and Nietzsche suites.
Tradition Rooms
The entry-level room, at around 30 sqm. Scattered throughout the historic streets of the village. Exposed beams, ancient stone, and preserved period details. Village or garden view — not sea view. Ideal for guests who want the atmosphere on a relatively lower budget, but be aware: at €825+ per night, 'budget' is relative.
