Why It Matters
One of the most photographed hotels in Santorini — and for good reason. Every suite has a private pool or hot tub facing the caldera. The Roka restaurant partnership with Zuma Group is a genuine culinary draw. The heated infinity pool with floating sunbeds and views to the volcano is the centrepiece of the property.
Cavo Tagoo sits at the northern tip of Imerovigli on Santorini's caldera rim, quieter than Oia but with views that are honestly hard to top. Thirteen suites cascade down a volcanic cliff in whitewashed Cycladic architecture, each one fitted with either a private pool or hot tub and sunset views that face the volcano, Thirassia, and Oia. Interiors go full contemporary — copper fixtures, suede furnishings, dark woods — a sharp contrast to the bone-white exteriors. The signature Roka restaurant brings Japanese robatayaki to the caldera edge each season as a partnership with the Zuma group, making dinner here a legitimate destination event.

The flagship. You get both an outdoor heated private infinity pool on a 65 sqm terrace AND an indoor jacuzzi — the only suite in the hotel with both. Queen bed, sofa bed, shaded daybed terrace. Interiors are the most lavish in the house. Worth it if you want the full Cavo Tagoo experience.
