Casa Colonial is a 50-suite boutique hotel sitting at the quieter end of Playa Dorada beach on the Dominican Republic's north coast. The design by Sarah Garcia leans into colonial-era aesthetics: soaring ceilings, sheer curtains, dark-stained wood, eclectic art, and an open bath-to-bedroom layout that feels genuinely residential rather than generic resort. It's the only non-all-inclusive boutique property in a stretch otherwise dominated by large all-inclusive complexes, and it shows — guests consistently single out the staff warmth and the elevated food as the real differentiators.

An 18-hole, 6,730-yard, par-72 championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1978, sitting directly adjacent to the hotel (300 meters away). One of the top courses in the Dominican Republic. Hotel guests receive discounted green fees. Amenities include a driving range, putting green, pro shop, lockers, and a clubhouse with restaurant. The hotel provides golf storage and free transportation to the course.
