A 1,000 sqm manor house built in 1870 by Dr. Pádua — the city's own doctor, conductor, and mayor — Casa Amor is a 10-room boutique hotel that makes you want to cancel your return flight. French owners Jacques and Walter restored everything: whitewashed walls, century-old arches, a hundred-year-old olive tree in the courtyard, and hand-carved red ornamental doors reproduced by local craftsmen. The rooftop pool is saltwater, chlorine-free, sits on a 350 sqm terrace, and looks straight out over Olhão's famous cubic rooflines to the Ria Formosa beyond.
