Casa a Corte
Baroque palazzo meets curated Parisian hospitality. Quiet, intimate, and deeply local — no lobby, no restaurant, no spa. The focus is on authentic Pugliese life: cook in the fully-equipped kitchen, pick an orange from the courtyard tree, let the owners' contacts set you up with a private chef or a wine tasting next door.
Cantine Bonsegna is literally next door — grab local Negroamaro and Primitivo without getting in the car
Why It Matters
One of the oldest buildings in Nardò, meticulously restored over two-plus years (completed 2019) with local craftspeople and local materials only. Each of the five rooms is genuinely different — the Cappella room still has its original 16th-century chapel floor tiles and restored frescoes. Property has Michelin Guide, Tablet Hotels, and Mr & Mrs Smith listings, and has been covered by major design and lifestyle press.
A 16th- and 17th-century former private mansion in Nardò's baroque historic center, transformed by Paris-trained hospitality duo Anne Benichou and Sylvain Greiner into a five-room, owner-run guest house. Think restored ceiling frescoes, original stone columns, antique floor tiles, and a small courtyard pool shaded by an orange tree — but with proper hotel-grade beds and organic Essentia Puglia toiletries. It sleeps up to 10, which makes it equally strong as a full-house group rental or as individual rooms. Featured in Architectural Digest, Vanity Fair, L'Officiel, and La Repubblica.
