C-Hotel & Spa is a 23-room, family-run design hotel tucked into the Brianza hills, about 20 kilometers from Lake Como's shores. Owner and architect Andrea Colzani used locally quarried limestone from the Berici Hills throughout the interiors — that pale, polished stone gives everything a serene, almost sculptural quality. The real draw is the private-pool room tier: your own outdoor heated saltwater plunge pool off a walled garden terrace, with breakfast delivered to your room. Not on the lake, so manage expectations about waterfront views, but the spa, restaurant, and design credentials make it worth the detour.
