On a seahorse-shaped private island connected to central Dubai by a 300-metre bridge, Bvlgari Resort Dubai is the Italian jeweller's most ambitious hotel project to date. Designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, the low-rise complex leans hard into Mediterranean nautical style — think travertine promenades, a 50-berth marina, and a beach club done in the brand's serpent motif — while delivering the kind of Italian design precision you'd expect from a house that makes $50,000 rings. The dining program is legitimately world-class: two Michelin stars for Il Ristorante, one for the 17-seat Hōseki omakase counter. The location is genuinely remote. You're on an island, which is peaceful and private, but it means every off-property dinner or excursion requires a car. Dubai International Airport is 8.1 miles away.
