Why It Matters
Designed and owned by Studio Tack — the same Brooklyn firm behind Scribner's Catskill Lodge and the Anvil Hotel in Wyoming. Every detail is chosen with intention: hand-dyed French linen blankets, Apotheke bath products, Tivoli Bluetooth radios. Featured in Tablet Hotels and the Michelin Guide. The only boutique stay right at the Saratoga Race Course paddock.
A 12-room boutique motor lodge sitting right on the edge of the Saratoga Race Course — close enough that jockeys walk their horses past the rooms on summer mornings. Brooklyn design firm Studio Tack bought the 1950s motel and gutted it in 2016, replacing highway kitsch with an equestrian-inspired aesthetic: board-and-batten exteriors that echo horse stables, white rooms criss-crossed with dark trim boards, vintage pastoral oil paintings above every bed, and brass hardware throughout. It punches well above its room count.

Deluxe Bunk Room
The family room. One queen bed plus a set of built-in full-size bunk beds — three beds total. Perfect for families or small groups who don't want to book multiple rooms. Same Studio Tack design DNA as the rest of the property: white walls, dark trim boards, vintage horse paintings above the beds.

Double Queen
Rooms 02-04. Two queen beds, sleeping up to four. Good for extended stays or groups who want extra space. The extra bed gives actual room to spread out — a commodity in a property where most rooms are on the cozier side.

Rooms 06-12. The standard choice for two people. One king bed, sleeps two. These seven rooms share the same design language — custom pine bed frames, hand-dyed French linen blankets, cotton percale sheets, brass swing-arm sconces, dark trim boards echoing the stable exterior, and vintage pastoral oil paintings sourced from the Brimfield antiques fair. Bathrooms have brass fixtures and rain showers.

Room 05. The smallest room at the property — honest about it too. One queen bed, sleeps two. The upside: it's ADA accessible with a compliant bathroom and shower. Good for a single night or a quick pit stop, less ideal for longer stays where you'll want more space.

How you'll actually spend your days.
Four custom Linus bicycles available for complimentary guest use. Great for riding downtown (about 7 minutes), cruising historic neighborhoods, or exploring Saratoga Spa State Park. Guests text 'BIKE WAIVER' to arrange. Seasonal — spring and summer only; bikes are stored away in colder months.
A fire pit on the patio with roasting sticks and s'mores supplies provided. Available seasonally — closed during winter months and reopens in spring. Guests can also watch race horses pass by from the patio during race season.

The hotel sits directly adjacent to the Saratoga Race Course paddock and stables. Guests can watch horses and jockeys from the patio on summer mornings. Race season runs mid-July through Labor Day.
