Why It Matters
Michelin Guide listed. The only hotel in the Uzès historic center with both an outdoor pool and a private enclosed parking garage. Since April 2024, it also operates as a rotating art gallery with curated quarterly exhibitions by regional and international artists. The pool has a direct view of the Fenestrelle Tower — one of the best vantage points in town.
Two 15th-century Uzès mansions, merged into one and thoroughly modernized, sitting directly across from the Saint-Théodorit Cathedral and its unmistakable Fenestrelle Tower. The building has genuinely good bones: ribbed vaults, exposed stonework, stone arcades. The owners stripped it back and layered in minimalist furniture, mosaic-tiled Italian-style bathrooms, and a rotating contemporary art program. It's the only hotel in the historic center with both a pool and a private covered garage — a detail that sounds minor until you're hunting for a parking spot in Uzès on a hot July Saturday.

The hotel holds the official 'Accueil Vélo' label, meaning it is equipped and certified to welcome cyclists — secure bike storage and relevant services available. Good base for cycling routes in the Gard region.
10m x 5m outdoor pool (1.25m deep), unheated and unsupervised. Bordered by a wooden terrace with views of the Fenestrelle Tower. Open from Easter weekend (late April/early May) to early November, 9:30am to 9pm. Exclusively for hotel guests. One room (Family Suite 35m²) has direct private pool access.
Fourth-floor terrace with 180–360° views over the rooftops of Uzès, the Fenestrelle Tower, and the Cathedral Saint-Théodorit. A popular spot for an evening glass of something cold. Open to hotel guests.
Since April 2024, the hotel has operated as an official art gallery supervised by an arts curator. Quarterly exhibitions feature regional, national, and international artists across all hotel spaces — rooms, corridors, lounges, breakfast room, and panoramic terrace. A genuinely unusual addition to a small hotel.
Three meeting rooms available: 50m², 25m², and 20m². Combined capacity up to 55 people depending on configuration. Residential seminars possible with on-site accommodation for up to 50 guests. All set within the character of a 15th-century mansion.
